there’s something that i’ve never
really understood; how come we
feel so many things like a kick
to the chest? if i’m here, and you’re
there, how am i supposed to know
what you feel is the same as what’s

press my lips to yours and
i can’t tell if it’s shame or love.
where do we go to learn

NaPoWriMo 2020 Challenge Week #1: Maya Angelou
Hi all! Y'all ready to do this? I am!
For our first weekly challenge of the year, we're going to kick off with a favorite of mine: Maya Angelou. I've been wanting to dig deeper into her work for awhile, and if your goal this year is to read more up on poetry, she should be near the top of your to-read list if you aren't already familiar with her work.
Eee! So excited! There is so much that can be learned from her and she will make EXCELLENT prompts. I'm already feeling inspired. :)
